Made some gilt-head bream in white wine.
Gilt-head bream in white wine
Ingredients
- two fresh gilt-head bream, portion size, have them cleaned and with slits
- squeezed lemon, and keep two slices
- 3 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- a good amount of white wine, enough to have about a centimetre in the oven baking pan
- a handful of fresh coriander
- olive oil
- kosher salt
- portobello mushrooms, cut to just a little over bite size (they shrink) white wine
Instructions
- Mix in a bowl the garlic, white wine, coriander, lemon juice.
- In a baking pan put the fish and mushrooms
- Pour over them and inside the contents of the bowl, place on the fish a slice of lemon, sprinkle kosher salt
- Pour some more wine, on the mushrooms in particular
- Drizzle olive oil till the fish is coated
- Bake in oven on 150-160C for 45-55 minutes till golden brown and cooked
